Early winter gives new spring feelings! At least half the city seems to be taking part in a dating marathon. To help you out i put together some great ideas for a date with tips for different budgets.
PS. Falling in love is at your own risk. PPS. All tips are very suitable for happy couples too.
Dates for an (almost) empty wallet
Candle dipping (that's not a sexual innuendo!) Now that i'm old (or at least wise enough) not to put my hand into the hot wax, i find candle dipping very romantic. Here you'll find a list by Conviva Plus with all offers in town.
Ice skating If you’ve ever been to any ice rinks, I’m sure you’ve been pleasantly entertained by your own sliding and gliding, and the occasional fearful grabbing of anyone, or anything, close enough to stop you falling. Fortunately, Zurich hosts three ice rinks where you can spin and twirl as much as you like.
Finding indicators of the summer There are two places in Zurich where it's warm all year round: At the Botanical Garden you'll find three green houses, and at Stadtgärtnerei you'll find the Tropical and Palmtree houses. Both are very nice. If you like palm trees but prefer the cold, here's my guide to (almost) all palm trees in town.
Kissing corners In spring, i put together this map, showing where you'll find various hidden corners for a quiet (or loud) snog around town. Whether classic-romantic or a bit dirty, i've done the difficult research, so you don't have to. Now, pucker up, here's my favourite locations.
Dates with a bigger wallet (also not a sexual innuendo!)
Local Tourism How about a tour through Zurich? Even though I know Zurich like the back of my hand, I love to see the city through someone else's eyes. Here's a few selected tours in English through our beloved town.
Put your hands in the air! Since «How I Met Your Mother», Lasertag has become popular in Switzerland. Childish? Maybe. Funny? Certainly. You can play it, for example at Laser Arena.
Dates for a fat wallet
The Great Escape Break out of prison together? Steal some art? Be a hero? You can do this and more at various escape rooms in town. Here's an overview.
I've told you before but another warning can't hurt. Fraudsters are active on all housing platforms in Switzerland. Also on my pages. Unfortunately, I can't guarantee that all offers are genuine. I do my best to blacklist any i catch but

3. Active Scooter
One of my favourite things about Zurich is the ease in which you can get about, by bike, public transport or on foot. But there is a new game in town in terms of transportation. I’m talking of course about the, now ubiquitous,
