Beer Work

A few months ago i wrote about a Crowdify project run by bierwerkzueri.ch in which they were seeking to fund the expansion of their micro brewery and bar in Europaallee. Well i am happy to say that (thanks to Crowdify,) they succeeded and during last weeks glorious weather i decided to drop in and check Bierwerk Züri out. 

Obviously the beer is great. I tried two from their menu of six and had to be restrained from draining the enormous stainless steel containers behind the bar. But they have also created a lovely terrace outside, overlooking Gustav-Gull-Platz. But it’s not just worth visiting for the beer. I wasn't at all hungry but when my friend offered me half of her vegan focaccia it was so good i had to order anther.  

If you are passing through HB or crossing the new footbridge do not pass Bierwerk Züri and do grab a beer.
