The Easter weekend in Zurich is awash with gigs, raves, dances and parties but spare a thought for those in some of the more conservative Cantons in Switzerland. Many cantons are still subject to a «Tanzverbot», a law that prohibits dancing, (and in some case non religious gatherings,) on religious holidays.
So if you’ve planned a weekend of clubbing, (unlikely i know,) in Aargau, Graubünden, Obwalden, Schaffhausen, Uri, Thurgau, Appenzell Innerrhodden or St. Gallen then maybe a change of plan is in order.
