Recently i attended a first aid course and the subject of REGA was brought up. Now i am a patron, but i have to admit that i was shocked by how little the people there, (who were mainly ex-pats,) knew about the service. In short, REGA is the Swiss Air Ambulance and in a country with as many mountains as Switzerland i am sure you can imagine how vital it is. If you mountain bike, hike, snowboard or even if you do none of these things REGA can rescue you or even repatriate you back to Switzerland should you have a medical emergency.
I am a patron of REGA and for a small donation, (Around 40 CHF per year for individuals,) REGA patrons get certain advantages if they need to use the service which can include the waiving of potentially financially crippling costs. (I have heard horror stories of invoices of 100k+ for repatriation!) In addition to this the REGA app can help you to be located should you have an accident or a medical emergency in the wilder areas of Switzerland. If you are not yet a patron then i reccomend it. Apart from anything else it is a good cause.
I love an ice-cream on a warm summers day but maybe an ice cream with a slightly more adult theme. Why can’t we enjoy a drink with our ice-cream? Listen to some music. Dance while whilst enjoying a cocktail and a sorbet. Well now you can

I've told you before but another warning can't hurt. Fraudsters are active on all housing platforms in Switzerland. Also on my pages. Unfortunately, I can't guarantee that all offers are genuine. I do my best to blacklist any i catch but
3. Leave It In Neutral
Switzerland has been famously neutral for a long time but current affairs are testing that neutrality to the limit and forcing the Swiss government to make decisions that would have been unthinkable even as little as 10 years ago. It’s a

3. Ooki: All the way from Tokyo
Whenever a new Japanese restaurant opens somewhere, you can be sure that I’m not far behind. This new locale is called Ooki and serves gyoza, ramen, tempura, udon, Japanese curries and sake. The interior is very authentic, the
I've just been refused entry to a cafe in Zurich because their Vaccine app doesn't recognise my UK vaccination certificate.
The owners of the app tell me there are no plans to fix this.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Does anyone have any suggestions?
We are volunteers. We have been volunteering for many years in different projects helping ill people, vulnerable elderly, orphans, refugees, civilians who got stuck in a war territory. All our actions were the ways to encourage people to move forward, realize that they have chance to live, they are not along and have support, they are the part of Ukrainian community
But now we are in despair. During these 57 war days our hears are torn into pieces because of impotence and distress. During these 57 days children, elderly, women are perishing. They are perishing because of bombing, shot by Russians, unable to escape from the occupied territories Urainian girls and women are raped by Russian soldiers, men are killed, Ukrainian civilians die unable to buy necessary medicine.
SIMIC, rescue and volunteer teams are trying to do their best to give civilians chance to survive in this Hell, but these groups are lack of save connection, professional radios with lots of helpful features, which can strengthen communication operations in a safeter way.
These teams need high quality radios\walkie-talkie to share information about our civilians and the way children, elderly, women can be safely evacuated, to minimaze risk of getting information by Russians.
Usage of professional radios by rescue and volunteer teams are chances for civilian Ukrainians to stay alive, to kiss their children, hug parents. It is a chance to see a new sunrise.
We would like to fundraise money to buy DP4400 / DP4800 portable two-way radios for the team, who are saving civilian Ukrainians, who give them chances to stay alive.
