Good to know: Cupcakes

At once, they were everywhere - Cupcakes! I don't recall when cupcakes arrived in Zurich but I remember a time - well most of my life really - when that wasn't the case. But over the last few years, shops and services popped up all around the city. By now, cupcakes are part of all our festive rituals. Here are my favourites within the city.

Cupcake affair

Melanie Studer runs the cupcake shop at Niederdorf. There you find various flavours freshly baked every day. You can also book a table for a proper afternoon tea with traditional sandwiches, tea and home-made cupcakes.

Michelle's Cupcakes

Michelle loves cupcakes and if you do too, you can either head to Luisenstrasse (Kreis 5) or Talacker (Kreis 1) abd choose between various flavours - mini or normal size. vegan options available.

FlourPower Cupcakes

Malar from London fullfilled herself a life-long dream with «FlourPower Cupcakes». With the goal to celebrate British tea culture at Seefeld - with some home-made, sweet cupcakes (and scones of course).
