I get all excited when there is a new restaurant to try and this week Silex, which is located right next to Bahnhof Wiedikon, opens its doors for the very first time. The cuisine is modern European and, as they put it, «…cook food an serve wines who’s origins we stand behind,» which is something i think all of us appreciate nowadays. They also have the most spectacular wine list, being so comprehensive that trying every drink would bankrupt most. If you do decide to pay a visit before i get a chance, let me know how it goes.
