So the European Championships are over and a thrilling game on Sunday night saw the Italians crowned as champions for the first time since 1968. Congratulations to the Italian team and i hope you all enjoyed keeping me awake on Sunday night. Just kidding, it was an amazing tournament and the atmosphere in the city was fantastic from start to finish.

Schools out and it’s time to hit the beach…but you’ve got to work and so have i. Never mind, the beach is coming to Zurich with Friday's opening of the Secret Island nearby to Tiefenbrunnen. Feel the sand between your toes as you dance to a great line up of DJ’s. Keep you fingers crossed that the weather plays ball.

This time kulturzueri.ch in collaboration with Museum Rietberg, is presenting a concert of Indian influenced music with a trio consisting of tabla, sarod and classical guitar. Don’t know what a sarod is? No idea about the tabla? (I’m assuming you all know what a guitar is.) Then head on down and find out.
