Freya: A summer fairy tale

A new summer girl moved to town and everyone is falling in love. Although she has big shoes to fill - she took over the venue of Kingskurry, where i used to dine a lot. But one shouldn't compare a new aquaintance with the ex - so i went on a date with this Freya...



...and received a warm welcome. I felt like at home immediately. Well, it looks a little bit like my own garden tere. (Well, my garden in ten years. Maybe. Hopefully).

And i realized right away that Frey has a heart for animals, especially birds...



But let's get down to business. Because what is the most important component of a perfect date? Right? Food. 

I wasn't disappointed. For a starter i had chickpea-mousse, followed by their meat as well as their veggie  menue of the day: First was a kind of burger made of minced meat, fennel, rocket salad, sauce... and the later a kind of fried rice with vegetables and tofu. Freya is actually one few people, who can cook tofu to perfection, neither dry nor chewy but filled with taste. Thank you!



Iwas satisfied, full and happy. I hang out for a while at Freya's, just because her garden is so pretty and her home-made lemonade so tasty. 



My conclusion: The date with Freya convinced through good food, she lives in a nice neighbourhood, she has style and her family is lovely! I think I've fallen in love. 

Will it be serious? Who knows. I'll be back for sure but Freya is free as a bird (not like the bird in her garden...)



and hasn't made up her mind yet, if she'll stay. Who knows where she'll be after the summer, but Freya, I would like you to stay at Freyastrasse. I would visit you frequently, i promise.
