Need a good book to see you through to the end of the lockdown? Then i can recommend the second hand book store «Bücherzelle» who have a great concept for trading books. Not only are the prices very low, (for Switzerland anyways,) but they donate 10% of the proceeds to good causes, (at the moment for school children in Nepal,) But that’s not all. They also have a pretty good English section.

Enjoy handling balls? Then you’re gonna love this. Grain Glow have some fantastic vegan snack ball mixes on offer at the minute. Simply add a drop of (plant based,) milk to the mix, give it a stir and roll into a ball. Healthy, yummy and vegan. What more could you ask for?

Snowflake Generation

When i read «Snowflake Generator» i thought it was a mating ritual for millenials. But the snowflake generator website (by artist Vivian Wu) actually generates your own personalised snowflake which you can download. I found it amazingly relaxing and a welcome distraction from what i was supposed to be doing i.e. work.

Last year the Cuchi Am Wasser hosted a Japanese pop-up called Momomai . (Which i wrote about here .) Well, they’re back and although you can’t enjoy a meal down by the river you can have a lunch or dinner «bento box» delivered to your home. (Or you can pick it up if you want.)
