For the third year, the Sonic Matter festival will be taking place in Zurich and this year, they're focussing on things that matter. As they so astutely point on on their website, the past few years have not been easy ones (i won't get into why, we all know). This last year has been particularly... bumpy. So this time around, the festival is looking at how music can be usesd as a coping mechanism and how it can allow us to rise to the challenges we face. Through experimental music and various stage acts, this festival hopes to unite in a world that is heavily divided. There will be both local talent as well as some from West Asia and Africa.
