From Snurfer to the Olympics

I love the mountains, i love the snow and i love winter sports especially snowboarding. The other day a few friends and i were talking about «The Snurfer», the 1965 precursor to the modern snowboard. Naturally my inquisitive nature led me to look around for more information and during my armchair investigation i discovered a really great documentary on the history of snowboarding. «We Ride - The Story of Snowboarding» shows snowboardings (very humble,) origins, the rivalries between pioneers Jake Burton and Tom Sims, how economic problems pushed it into the mainstream right the way to it becoming an Olympic sport.
