Summer, sun, sounds and spritzers. Summer bars are springing up like mushrooms in Zurich and, for those that are missing the club scene, many have live music. So if you agree that music is the food of love i have 5 tips plus 1 special insider tip for you:
Seebad Unplugged Near enough every second Sunday there is a unplugged concert at Seebad Enge. And what a perfect place it is for a summer gig! The schedule for the rest of the summer is as follows: 25th June - Elijah Salomon, 16th July - Didi, 30th July - Otis Zola, 6th August - Knackeboul, 20th August - Éna Vera. Did i mention it’s free? But there is a collection so give generously Ronsters.
Summer Concerts in the Bäcki Until 27 July, there will be an unplugged summer concert every Thursday at the Bäcki.(The Bäckeranlage if you are new to the city and are not sure.) Barfussbar From 8pm on every Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday the Frauenbadi opens its door to the, how can i put it, less fair sex. That's right, the Frauenbadi lets men in too and what a special place it is to enjoy music and dancing on a balmy summer night.
Every Thursday and Friday until August, the Kauz summer bar in the Senkgarten in front of the Museum für Gestaltung offers good cocktails and good music. The more cocktails you drink, the better the music gets.
One of the quietest and greenest summer bars in the middle of the hustle and bustle is the summer garden in the barracks area. Theoretically, there are also concerts here every now and then. At the moment, however, the event calendar is still empty. But theat doesn't mean you shouldn't enjoy a relaxing drink under the stars.
