The grand architecture of the Landesmuseum provides the backdrop to the Bloom Openair cinema where you can watch the summers blockbusters whilst enjoying the scent of flowers and velvety summer air. Snacks are on sale (try the Serrano ham foccacia,) and blankets are available if it gets a bit chilly.
Melting into the sofa with a good film is not just reserved for your living room. With comfy sofas in a secluded courtyard Sofa Openair Kino provides one of the most cozy cinematic experiences. Hot food from the grill and cold drinks from the bar provide the icing on the cake.
This is one of the oldest open-air cinemas in Zurich (only the one at Rote Fabrik is older) and not much has changed since its inception in 1985. No sponsors, no commercials and no public support means this cinema relies on public donations some of which is invested back into projects in Kreis 5.
The Röschibachkino is now in its 21st year. With all films shown in their original language it’s a good idea to check that you speak the lingo of the film. Don’t understand a word of it? There is food available.
Well, it's that time of year when we start pulling out our cosy sweaters and cardigans, praying that the moths didn't get to them. Maybe you have a favorite, but want to look for some other ones, or maybe you wore your favorite one so many

This summer, we were the first Ukrainian dance group to perform at the International Folk Dance Festival at Züri Fäscht. It is a great honor but also a great responsibility for us to represent Ukrainian culture. In the future, our dance group plans to participate in other dance events.
We have no sponsors and run this dance group on a voluntary basis, but we have to cover some costs. The main needs of our group are:
- additional costumes for our performances
- renting a dance studio during the week
- covering all expenses related to our performances (transportation, meals, accommodation, etc.)
- covering other organizational costs
We hope to continue our classes in the future and to establish a strong and professional Ukrainian folk dancing ensemble in Switzerland. For this we need your support.
