Let's make being green a thing of the past! I am of course talking about mountains in Winter. Green mountains in winter and record temperatures have been pretty disastrous for the lucrative Christmas period as far as snowboarding is concerned and as i was travelling to the Laax Open, (to watch by the way, not compete,) i found myself wondering about how much me, Ron Orp, is contributing by hitting the slopes. Mountain sports that involve fake snow and ski lift consume pretty vast amounts of water and energy, both precious commodities right now. So after a bought of panic and guilt i though i would share an article with you from 20min.ch, (the link is in German but it is available in English on the app,) which list 12 ways to be more sustainable and green, (i don’t think you can every be totally green,) as you enjoy your whichever winter sports you partake in.

I am a volunteer at PAFI, a small foundation in Switzerland that supports 200 children from an underprivileged community in Brazil to go to school and eat a warm meal per day. Recently, we fulfilled the children's dream of a sports field. To complete the project, install plumbing and buy sport equipment we are looking for some additional funding. Because we don't have any administrative costs, every cent benefits the children directly. Here is the link to the project: https://www.crowdify.net/de/projekt/sport-pausenplatz
Does anyone know organisations and foundations in Switzerland that we could contact to supporting our project?
