Currently you find one of my own projects «Save Ron Orp English» on my crowdfunding platform 100-days. From the replies I received I realised that it’s time to explain how crowdfunding works. Project: a project needs some money and launches a project (for example me to pay my editors and web services next year). Boosts: The crowd boosts the project with smaller or bigger sums to finance it. Goodies: it’s up to you to support the project because it’s a good cause (such as saving my newsletter) or you can select one of the offered goodies. Success: the needed sum was raised and all booster receive their goodies in return (in my case all Ronsters will receive my newsletter in 2019 as well). Failure: if the crowdfunding is unsuccessful, you get your money back and the project fails.
