This Sunday, Zurich becomes sporty, as the Zurich marathon takes place. If you wanted to take part, I have some bad news for you, registration is already closed. But the good news: you can go out, drink beer and go and afterwards watch someone else doing all the work. And if you want to do this while still being active, head over to Viadukt, where Balboa celebrates its anniversary with a team challenge and a party on Saturday.
If running is your thing though, there is a charity run coming up where you can also compete against your buddies back home: Wings for Life World Run. It takes place all over the world on the 6th May at the same time. And when I say at the same time, I mean synchronic: In Olten (just half an hour from Zurich) it's happening at noon, in Auckland at 10 pm, in California at 3 am. If you fancy running against the world and for for those who cannot — it funds research to cure spinal cord injury — then nothing should stop you from taking part.
I love a bit of cheese. Whether it’s Raclette, Fondue or just a piece of Cheddar with bread, a good culinary evening usually requires a visit to the cheese shop. But where to go? I tested out a few of the cheese shops in the city.

In transportation, complex and time-consuming paperworks, along with the risk of returns and refunds, are always a problem. How does Blockchain apply to transportation? Will Blockchain be the “savior” of more than $ 4 trillion worth of goods shipped every year ?

Since I lived in Asia with my family in the 80th, I'm helping street children in the Philippines. Giving them shelter, food, clothes, education and of course lots of love. Can you imagine exposing, selling or move away and let your child behind, alone in the dirty streets, without protection against violence, been beeted, hungry, naked?
Please, help us helping this poorest of the poor. As you can see, we do no need any luxury, our shower is outside, we have simple rooms. Privacy is only protectet by a plastic awning, where we also wash our clothes. But we are content if our children have two meals a day, education, proper clothes, and of course our love.
The house stand into water to prevent mise, snakes and other animals entering. Cleaning the water ones a week is necessary, to keep everything nice and clean. The children are helping with fun (see picture).
