Until the end of September you'll find a taste of Japan at Coffe Shack. Nightmarket is the name of the pop-up-restaurant that will bring life into the barely used kitchen at Müllerstrasse. The man behind the idea is Freddy, who's been responsible for the wonderful cheesecake at the Coffee Shack.
Freddy always wanted to open his own restaurant, and together with chef Dan he developed the idea for the pop-up. It's all about summer, all about bbq.
Instead of burgers and wurst you'll find Shishito Peppers, King Trumpet Mushrooms and Pork Neck. This kind of bbq is called «Yakitori», where meat and vegetables are first glaced with a sauce consisting of sake, soy sauce and rice vinegar and grilled over Japanese bamboo coal.
Dan comes originally from China but he thought that the Japanese bbq fits best to Zurich.
After trying the Roasted Miso Honey Eggplants, the chicken sticks and the Pickled Cucumbers i totally agree! Welcome!

In Romandie region, the artistic potential in the field of non-academic dances is greatly diminished by the fact the majority of local institutions that finance artistic activities related to dance give support for to classical and contemporary style dancers only.
Costs related to the creation and production in other styles are therefore largely at the expense of the artists. Rental rates of a dance studio with mirrors are 50 CHF per hour on average in Geneva area. Therefore, one day of choreographic work represents an investment of several hundred francs.
In addition, the availability of these dance studios depends on the regular classes that are given, which complicates the organization of rehearsals or or special events such as worshops.
