lavender honey syrup + 1 cup local honey + 1 cup water + juice of 1 lemon + a bundle of lavender buds
Add the honey, water and lemon juice to a sauce pan. Stir to combine and heat over medium high. Bring to a boil point. Reduce the heat and add the lavender. Simmer for about 30', until the texture starts to thicken. Let cool and then pour through a strainer or cheese cloth. Store the syrup in a covered bottle or jar. Ones completely cool place into your fridge.
For the cocktail I just added 1cl of Gin, a huge ice cube and 2cl of the syrup. In addition to it you can add some lemon juice. fill up the glass with sparkling water or tonic water, whatever you like better. I go for sparkling water since I get to enjoy a SodaStream at home.

The CALWHA project (Children and Adolescents Living With HIV / AIDS) helps children and adolescents with HIV / AIDS in Tanzania, by funding and organizing “activity days” in two hospitals in the north of the country: the Nansio District Hospital in Ukerewe and the Shirati KMT Hospital in Shirati.
This region of the country had the highest rate of HIV infection when the project was created in 2011. The poverty of local families, the lack of adherence to treatment and the stigmatization of people with HIV / AIDS were and are still major issues in these regions.
