Room in a 4-people WG at Langstrasse to sublet for 6 months (February-July)

I am subletting my room in a 4-people WG from January 25th to July 30th (we can discuss the exact dates).

The WG is located on Langstrasse, in the middle of a very animated neighborhood with tons of shops, restaurants, bars and clubs around. There is a Coop 50m away, and HB is reachable in 10 minutes by foot.

The room is spacious (20 square meters) with large windows. I am subletting it with all the furnitures, including a double bed with a nightstand, two sofas, a desk, a cupboard and some shelves. The shared kitchen is fully equipped with oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, fridge and freezer. There is also a little living room and one common bathroom with bathtub.

I’ll be doing civilian service in Basel for 6 months, so I’m looking for someone to sublet my room during this period. Age, gender, religion, diet and everything else do not really matter, as long as you are willing to be part of the WG not only in a passive way, and to keep the place reasonably tidy. The only restriction is that we don't want to have pets in our WG. As you are probably aware if you know Zurich a bit, the location is the most animated party street in the city, so you should expect some noise, especially during the weekend, though at the moment it is a lot quieter due to the pandemic-related restrictions. Moreover, the windows are surprisingly good sound-blockers and I have personally not been annoyed by the noise since I moved in in April.

You will be sharing the flat with Julia (27), Magali (25) and Najeem (36). Julia started to study international IT management this autumn and is also working in a language school. She’s a great cook and always to have for a chat, be it about politics, wine (you’ll never be disappointed by her wine choices) or the many mysteries of Austria. We also recently discovered her hidden accordionist talent. Magali is doing her Master in cultural studies at UZH and works in a theater. An absolute animal lover with an almost worship for cats (and cat memes), she will tell you about her funny/far-fetched work stories and the forgotten town of Biel. Najeem is also studying IT, and works terrible shifts at the Briefzentrum in Schlieren. He is the freshest add to our WG, who enjoys cooking and can tell you about the ups and downs of life in Ghana. As a WG we usually spend time together spontaneously around a beer or a good meal. Going out for ice creams, film festivals or a Limmat boat ride (boat included in the WG) are among the various options that we enjoy, living in such a central and lively part of Zurich. Of course we also all have our own lives and sometimes simply want to chill in our room.
