I am a volunteer at PAFI, a small foundation in Switzerland that supports 200 children from an underprivileged community in Brazil to go to school and eat a warm meal per day. Recently, we fulfilled the children's dream of a sports field. To complete the project, install plumbing and buy sport equipment we are looking for some additional funding. We are raising money to supply our fellow Anglican chaplaincy of Christ Church Kyiv with wind-up USB chargers, radios and torches. This will help them during the winter, especially as attacks to power infrastructure increase. Our aim is to buy 10 wind-up charging devices which can be shared among the most vulnerable members of the church congregation and wider community. Each device costs €20; we will buy as many as we can and any money leftover will be donated to the Bishop in Europe’s Advent appeal.
