Top UK comedian Jimmy McGhie will be supported by special guests Chris Darwa and Myriam Sonanini
Comedians talk and time and time again I heard the same name recommended by our visiting comedians. "You should book Jimmy McGhie", "He works amazingly with international audiences", "he'll hold the whole room easily for 40 minutes" they said. At some point, there was only one thing I could do, so I booked him!
Jimmy ticks all our boxes, he's incredibly well reviewed:
★★★★★ Three Weeks
★★★★★ Ed Fest Mag
★★★★ The Scotsman
And has been all over UK and Australian TV with appearance on the BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5, Comedy Central, ABC Australia and THREE New Zealand (OK and New Zealand TV).
Come join us to find out why the Scotsman calls him “a brilliant talent”.
With special guest Chris Darwa.
Fresh from his debut Edinburgh Show, Chris is back in Switzerland and ready to share the highs and lows of his life as a loving father and a heavily indebted former cocaine addict. He may be local to Switzerland, but when I accidently saw Chris perform at a showcase in Edinburgh, he stood out on a a line up of international comics as one to watch.
Plus further support from the SRF Comedy Talent Award nominated Myriam Sonanini and your host Shane Norton.
Don't miss out on this amazing lineup! Doors open a 19:30. Arrive early to get a drink and save the best seats. Check out all our events on www.comedykiss.ch.
You might know the Danish «Hygge», but have you heard of the Finnish «Kotona»? It means «at home» and it represents the cozy and content feeling you get when you are cocooning in your own place. If your home is not quite there yet, you can create this feeling of «Kotona» by filling your home with Finnish handcrafted furniture and other home-items from the Suomi PopUp starting today. You also get to have a taste of Nordic cuisine with pasties and cinnamon rolls from the PopUp Café in the same location. You have to hurry though because the PopUp only runs for three days, until Saturday!
I'm looking for people who have experienced living and working in the USA because I'm planning to live and work over there. Well, as it takes a lot of time I'd appreciate if you could give me some advice and thoughts.
