The rising star of UK comedy Helen Bauer will be supported by special guests Charles Nguela and Jack Roberts.
Helen Bauer is one of the UK’s most exciting rising stand up stars. She's an absolute powerhouse. I saw her at 2022 Ed Fringe, it was mid-week and I'd seen some charming and heart touching comedians but still hadn't had the stomach wrenching belly laughing experience I'd been searching for. Helen changed all that! Damn did she dominate that stage and that room! It was brilliant!
She's a rising star and is all over the place at the moment with appearances on:
Live At The Apollo (BBC2), Stand Up For Live Comedy: BBC Presents (BBC 1 & 3), Edinburgh Nights (BBC 2), Period Dramas (BBC 3), CelebAbility, The Stand Up Sketch Show, The Emily Attack Show and Hey Tracey (ITV2), The Dog Ate My Homework (CBBC), Pep Talk, Fat Chat and Comedy Central’s Digital Fringe (Comedy Central), CALM Gala and Hypothetical (Dave).
And as the Sunday Express said:
★★★★★ ‘A personality that will fill a stadium. Mark my words, this girl will not be performing in small venues for much longer"
So see her in Zurich before it's too late!
She won't be alone and we're very excited to announce that our special guest will be Switzerland's own Charles Nguela.
Charles is a winner of both Swiss Comedy Awards 2014's best act and audience's favorite awards. Since then he's gone on to win further awards for his solo shows and the top Swiss Comedy Award in 2022 making him one of Switzerland's most popular comedians. On top of that you wont be able to help yourself recognise him from a million annoying Wingo adverts. Don't worry, he'll be entertaining us in English!
Further support will come from Zurich based British ex-pat and all-round depressive Jack Roberts alongside the happier than an excited puppy Shane Norton.
Don't miss out on this amazing lineup! Doors open a 19:30. Arrive early to get a drink and save the best seats. Check out all our events on www.comedykiss.ch.
Fancy flexing those creative muscles? Then a new pop-up studio has…er…popped up in the Wiedikon area of the city. Atelier Nebu invites you to sip a few drinks and paint your own unique designs onto their ceramic products. Once you have created your special design it resides with them, (presumably so they can cook it in a kiln,) and you pick it up later. Sipping a negroni or a glühwein whilst painting sounds fun doesn’t it? Well, they are there until the 29th of January so book now and get creating.
Hi, We are based in Oberhasli, Zurich, and are looking for somebody to sit a few hours with our cat. We are away between Thursday 14/04 and Monday 19/04, and don't want him to get lonely. If you would like to pay our cat company while reading a book, doing your home office, or would like to stay overnight, we and Ninja would be very happy. Price negotiable, email me [email protected], and help on only some days would be sufficient, since we will have somebody come and feed him daily anyways.
