It is the most furious, original and funny rhythm spectacle on earth: STOMP is a phenomenon! Back on tour it is guaranteed to make your eyes, ears and laugh muscles astonished and exhausted. Armed with nothing but junk and an infallible sense of rhythm, the wonderfully individual STOMP characters plumb previously unknown depths of sound. And that they are still as fresh, inquisitive and playful as on the first day, they show on this tour with the two brand new numbers "Suitcases" and "Poltergeist". Let yourself be inspired by the high art of snap fingers, swing brooms and rattle garbage cans!
Whether matchboxes, brooms or sinks - the STOMP cosmos is as diverse as it is inexhaustible. In it, everyday objects are transformed into singing rubbish and symphonic junk. What began over 25 years ago in the streets of Great Britain with hands, feet and a few brooms has long since become a worldwide sound phenomenon: Manhattan renamed 8th Street "Stomp Avenue" and London awarded the show the Olivier Award, the most important British theatre prize. Now STOMP is back in Switzerland- fresher, faster, funnier!
Fancy flexing those creative muscles? Then a new pop-up studio has…er…popped up in the Wiedikon area of the city. Atelier Nebu invites you to sip a few drinks and paint your own unique designs onto their ceramic products. Once you have created your special design it resides with them, (presumably so they can cook it in a kiln,) and you pick it up later. Sipping a negroni or a glühwein whilst painting sounds fun doesn’t it? Well, they are there until the 29th of January so book now and get creating.
