For ex-pats and “auslanders,” eating out in Zürich is frighteningly expensive. Cries of “How Much?” are regularly heard emanating from the mouths of Brits, Americans and our Antipodean cousins. So save your self a few Francs, buy a Wurst from the supermarket and head to the Sendergarten. They are hosting a public grill so you can bring your own sausage, kebabs or whatever you fancy grilling and they have a great line up of DJ’s.
If you want to check out some live music this weekend but the budget is a bit tight, Gessnerallee are hosting the Lauter festival. Great artists in great venues and best of all, it’s free. Gigs will take place in Stall 6 , Nordflügel and El Lokal right the way across the weekend.
