  • Lila, The Queer Festival

    Why is the Rote Fabrik’s queer festival called Lila ? Well, it’s named after a wonderful song called Das Lila Lied which was composed by Mischa Spolianski in 1921 with Kurt Schwabach providing lyrics that resonate 100 years later. Any hoo, the festival, (which is organised by youth organisation Milchjugend ,) has a pretty massive program of music, dance, workshops and theatre.   • New Music On The Radar

    I know i said no gigs but this is more of a festival. This years Radar Festival hosts gigs at a variety of venues in and around the Langstrasse area and is dedicated to promoting new music.   • Lindenplatz Is The Place To Be

    If you live out in the west of the city you might be feeling a bit left out with all the smaller openairs taking place to the east of the city. But fear not, the Lindenplatzfest , kicking off at 3pm in Altstetten is going to right those wrongs.
