Concentration & Mindfulness Retreat Challenge during March / April 2021

Concentration is essential for a happy life. Without the ability to focus our minds on peaceful, positive states, we remain prone to anxiety, dissatisfaction, and frustration. By training in concentration and mindfulness, we create a positive mind on the one hand and improve our ability to focus on the other. In this way, our everyday life becomes peaceful and productive.

This retreat challenge includes three parts and is designed to help you improve and build your concentration and mindfulness with each part. With strong concentration, you will be able to achieve not only your worldly goals, but also your spiritual goals.

Registration for each part is required. Parts 1 and 2 can be attended on-site and via live stream. Part 3 only on site.
The retreat will be guided in English.


Part 1 / 6–7 March 2021
The starter retreat

In this first part of the "Concentration & Mindfulness" Retreat Challenge, Gen Devi will give explanations on the topic. She will show what concentration and mindfulness are and how they can benefit our lives. In addition, we will start our concentration training with guided meditations. This retreat is essential for anyone who wants to improve their meditation practice, increase their focus and happiness.


Part 2 / 10–31 March 2021
The weekly training

After the starter retreat, we need to train in concentration and mindfulness on a regular basis. This four-week meditation series offers a weekly concentration training, which is essential to make progress. This takes place on Wednesdays from 19:00-20:30, led by Gen Kelsang Devi.


Part 3 / 16–18 April 2021

The final retreat
Retreat in the mountains (Kailash IRC)

This retreat is the culmination of the training in concentration and mindfulness of part 1 & 2. All those who have participated in part 1 (beginner retreat) and at least four weeks in part 2 (weekly training) can deepen their concentration at the end at the Kailash International Retreat Center (Valais).
