Into Good Habits

Start the weekend early with some chilled tunes from hip hop group Lazy Habits, fresh from storming the summer festivals and supporting Mos Def on his recent UK tour. The eight-strong hip hop collective will be playing their latest single 'Memory Banks' featuring soulful singer Baby Sol, as well as their trademark MCs. £9

8.30pm, Vortex Jazz Club, London N16

Pretty Graphic

Graphic designer Saul Bass was a veritable legend of the film industry, and if you've seen Psycho, West Side Story, The Shining, or any number of Hollywood classics, you'll be familiar with his work. In collaboration with the British Film Industry, the Shoreditch's Kemistry Gallery is holding an exhibition of his striking movie poster designs. Film buffs and art fiends, you know what to do. Free

10am-6pm, Kemistry Gallery, London EC2A

Cloud Nothings

Cloud Nothings is Dylan Baldi, a 19-year-old from Cleveland. After a series of EPs, the songwriter moved his workplace from the parental home to a studio in Baltimore. The talented musician is performing his modern interpretation of power-pop at the Camp tonight. Catch him before he is famous! £6

7.30pm, Camp London, City Road, EC1Y

London Underground Photography

South Londoner Yusuf Ozkizil's passion for photography started four years ago when he visited family in Turkey. They spoke no English, he next to no Turkish, which is why he spent most of his time there taking pictures. His habit of walking around with his camera hasn't stopped since and he's taken some quite amazing photos of London. My favourite are the Tube photos. Yusuf's Flickr stream / interview with Yusuf

Face Hunting In New York City

Yvan Rodic is a well-known blogger. When he started his streetstyle blog Facehunter five years ago, the Swiss-born and London-based Rodic was a nobody in the fashion world. These days, Facehunter is a regular fixture at fashion weeks but Rodic also 'hunts' in less expected places such as Kiev, São Paulo, and Reykjavik. Nowness accompanied him for a day in NYC and made a short documentary about him and his search for faces. Watch

Grub With Us

Thanks to the website grubwith.us, locals from NYC, Chicago and San Francisco can meet new people while having dinner with strangers. The users themselves book a certain amount of spaces at a restaurant and then publish the info on the website. The other uses can join in and have dinner with the other strangers. Great idea. Hopefully they expand to London soon!

Add to favourit  Party: Tonight in Bedroom Bar
A great place in the heart of Shoreditch triangle, Bedroom Bar is hosting The Loft Fix night which is rather classy and entry requires black&white dress code. Special guest DJs are playing the best of R'n'B, HipHop & House TONIGHT, hence cancel your plans. See you there! £5 entry all night. Tonight, Friday, February 27th. 10.30-3AM. 68 Rivington Street, EC2A 3AY.

Add to favourit  Audiolicious: Silent Disco at the View from the Shard
What is Silent Disco at the Shard? It is when you go up to the top floor of the Shard, pop on wireless headphones, pick a channel from a variety of three DJ battles and party it up 1000 ft over the city. Panoramic view from there is breath-taking, but that is just our humble opinion. Check it out for yourself, but ensure to reserve tickets in advance. £37.50. April 11th, 10-2AM.  The View from the Shard, Southwark, SE1 9QU

Add to favourit  Open Air: A Day by Regent's Canal
As the weather is getting warmer, we want to spend more time outside. Haggerstone area is something you truly want to explore, particularly alond Regent's canal. Among many places located along the canal, we suggest you visit The Proud Archivist. Their drink menu is very broad and food is truly exquisite. Also, they hold art exhibitions as well as a they have a variety of books to read up in their library. 8AM-10.30PM. 2-10 Hertford Road, N1 5SH

Add to favourit  Taste of Venezuela
Another place located along the Regent's Canal is Arepa & Co. This business strated from a stall in Camden Market and grew into a restaurant that is always busy! They offer a variety of traditional Venezuelan foods, arepas and cachapas for a fair price. The interior is very colorful and music is cheerful. Check it out for yourself. Every Day 8AM to 10PM58a De Beauvoir Crescent, London N1 5SB
